Mission Update: Progress & Continued Efforts

🐾Dear Friends & Supporters,

We’re so excited to give you an update on our mission here at Herrin Feline Fixers! Your incredible support and understanding have been pivotal in our progress, and we’re thrilled to share some of the strides we’ve made in our journey to help the stray cat population.

Establishing Herrin Feline Fixers

Our journey began with creating a recognizable and meaningful brand, registering our nonprofit organization, and building our comprehensive website.

We’ve set up banking services and online donation capabilities, and we’re actively managing our social media profiles to keep you informed and engaged.

After reaching out to over 100 veterinarians, we found amazing partners willing to work with stray cats, and this has been crucial in our mission.

Our Progress

I’m delighted to announce that we’ve successfully provided care for and fixed 27 cats so far.

This incredible milestone is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, and it underscores the importance of our mission in creating a healthier environment for these animals and our community.

Here’s a look at some of the remarkable cats we’ve helped:

• Feral Momma Cat: She was stuck in garage rafters for 2 days and needed a toe amputation. She recovered well thanks to her amazing caregiver!
• Lucky: This resilient little kitten was rescued from a storm drain on Route 148 and is now living his best life.
• Thomas & Frances: These amazing brothers found a safe indoor home and will no longer face the dangers of street life.
• White Folk: After too many cat fights, he needed his ear sewn back into place. He’s doing so much better now and isn’t fighting anymore!

Remember, our group is entirely volunteer-driven. No one receives payment for the extensive work involved – it’s all done from the heart!

A Plea for Continued Support

With over 200 cats still in need of TNR services, we need MORE help from our amazing community! Here’s how you can get involved:

• Volunteer: We need reliable volunteers for outreach, transportation, and event assistance.
• Sponsor or Donate: Financial contributions and sponsorships from local businesses are essential for expanding our efforts. Every bit helps!

Please be mindful and respect our volunteers’ time by avoiding unplanned visits and repeated calls. Your cooperation and understanding make a HUGE difference.
