Injured Spicy Feral ‘Momma’ Cat Needed Help

Hey, Herrin Feline Fixers family!

We’ve got an incredible story to share, and it’s all thanks to YOUR unwavering support and compassion!

Meet Momma, a beautiful, yet fiercely feral cat who found herself in a dire situation. This sweet girl was stuck in garage rafters for TWO DAYS, injured and terrified! 

Our amazing team sprang into action, and after a painstaking rescue, we finally coaxed Momma out!

But Momma’s journey wasn’t easy.

She was so scared and hurt that she put up quite a fight at the vet’s office!  

Our dedicated veterinary team worked tirelessly to examine her, and unfortunately, Momma required sedation just to receive the care she needed. 

The diagnosis? Momma needed a toe amputation and treatment for a soft tissue injury. 

Our hearts went out to this fearless feline, but we knew she was in good hands! Fast-forward 14 incredible days of recovery, and something MAGICAL happened! 

Momma began to trust her human caregiver, slowly accepting love, pets and snuggles! 

It was a turning point in her journey! And now, the best part? Momma has made a full recovery and returned to her familiar territory, sporting a newfound friendship with humans! 

She may have started as a scared, feral cat, but Momma’s story is now one of hope, resilience and community power!
